Club Background
The club is a small private members only club based on the side of a freshwater lake. We have a small clubhouse on site with showers and toilets. There are a limited number of caravans on the side of the lake which are occasionally for sale if a member leaves.
Type of Water Based Activities
- Slalom: 6 buoy slalom course
- Recreational skiing
- Wakeboard
- Barefoot
- Kneeboard
- Recreational activities – jet ski, inflatable ringo, banana or airchair etc.
Boat Ownership
LWSC is a boat owning club. Alternatively there is a syndicate that many members belong to that together own a tournament ski boat, which is replaced every two or three years.
Events - Ski Related and Social
We like to ski hard and play hard at LWSC!
Throughout the year we organise skiing events and social events such as the following:
- St George’s Day/Open Season
- Fun day – land and water based fun for all
- Club competition
- Annual Dinner & Dance for competition prize giving
- Halloween
- Weekly BBQ And others …
